It starts to snow shut.
Turns out we are killing hundreds of thousands of people.
Anyway I wouldn’t
say anything. I saw, at staggered distances, the three
geese
walking down the river. Each foot turned out
Can we still say it is river?
When it doesn’t help anyone?
You who won’t even demand I exist

Can you hear now how it’s going
to end can you see now that
the light demands nothing takes
and still we send still we
look into it at each other
I am so bright with waking

the human just
stops at different points
isn’t that when you come to
likeness?
Do you remember when you used to lose yourself in me
isn’t that the world up to now?
*
the right body

is he pushing to cover her face or is he
pulling it
*

the superannuated List

that part I told you was gone by the river the
river gone, that part.
to have to happen to arrive.
the world wiped out in the fluttering curtain over your
neck
you kept touching your head don’t forget the object
I know the river is behind me
but it’s wrong to keep thinking the same thing
when I wake up you don’t smile
the light catching the wall
it’s just around light when
I think of you
It is a name:
the world up to now
