XXIV

By Sal Randolph

Used to roam any had no place know both
sound without ever see did close for keep

for taking water wind way what you make
time on knows what on me on you have done

after all never watched if disappears
calling futures sheer tries too late not too

ever too late dodging here closer to
running drift and call living where the time

before behind can have forgiven from
harm away somewhere if behind for naught

can be outnumbered after to ease all
broken and watch it start in the foreground

ending in peace was at travels fast through
easy running back clean only when changed.
